Whether it's a new skill, a new language, taking up a new hobby, learning to cook a new dish, or whatever else interests you...NOW is the perfect time to dedicate to boosting your brain's health by learning something new.
Since we all have a little extra time on our hands these days, it's the PERFECT time to learn something new, hone a new skill, take up a new hobby.
Now that we are home most of the day and have no evening or weekend plans, why not use that time to do something productive? Like exercising our brains!
This is the time to LEARN the things you've had on your to-do list for years and just have never gotten around to or have been putting off.
Here's a few ideas for how you can spend your quarantine time...
Pick up a language
I am personally learning Italian for the first time with Rosetta Stone; only $35 for a 3 month program. The program is 30 minutes, 5 days a week. Minimal time for maximal results!
Learn a new hobby
A few things I've been dabbling in over the past few months...
- Baking...from scratch!
- Calligraphy...it's something I've always wanted to take up to use in my design work.
- Coloring...adult coloring is a THING. Tons of people do it for stress relief, but I've actually been loving it for a creative outlet that's not work related!
Move in a new way
Were you a cardio junkie when they gyms were open and now you’re having trouble getting motivated? Now is the perfect time to try a new workout class online. So many fitness influencers and boutique fitness studios are offering free classes of ALL kinds online. So you're not losing anything by giving something new a try. And who knows? You may love it!
I personally am LOVING @isaacboots TORCH’D class everyday at 11AM on Instagram Live.
